A couple of cool indie game deals passed my way yesterday. First, Strange Adventures in Infinite Space is now free. It’s a quick to play (dare I say casual?) 4-X game and precursor to 2006 IGF award winner Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space. SAIS isn’t the prettiest game out there, but it’s free, light, and easy. I played a couple of games in about 20 minutes last night, and am still feeling it out.
Second, one of the best and most odd tower defense
games, Immortal Defense has dropped from $15 down to a lowly $3. It’s a full game for less than a sandwich! A good one too (the game, I mean. I dunno about the sandwich).
According to IndieGames.com you’ll need to enter the code BMCN000H7 in the discount code field when you purchase this. Also, it’s only good until October 4th. If you like tower defense, or just odd games in general, this is a good bet for you.
Enjoy!
